Analytics
See who is using your published app: visitors, popular pages, conversion, and revenue. What each plan unlocks.
Once your app is live, analytics show you how it is being used: who visits, what they look at, and whether they do the things you care about. It is built in, with nothing to install.
How it works
When you publish on a paid plan, Vaulter adds a lightweight tracker to your live app. It collects automatically, with no setup:
- Page views, including navigation inside your app.
- Clicks, including which elements get clicked most and clicks that leave to other sites.
- Form submissions.
- Sessions, with duration and how far people scroll.
Only your published app is measured. Your own clicking around in the preview never pollutes your numbers.
The views
Open Vault → Analytics:
- Overview. Visitors, page views, bounce rate, and average session, each with trend sparklines and comparison to the previous period. Below that: your top pages, where traffic comes from, countries, devices and browsers, most-clicked elements, and scroll depth.
- Realtime. Who is on your app right now, refreshed every few seconds: live visitor count, the pages they are on, and where they are in the world.
- Conversion. How visitors move through the steps that matter, so you can see where they drop off.
- Revenue. What your app is earning, if it takes payments.
Custom events
Page views tell you traffic; custom events tell you outcomes. Ask the agent to track the actions you care about:
Track an event called "booking_completed" when someone finishes a booking.
Tracked events show up in your analytics and can be pinned as KPI cards on the Overview. On the free plan these calls are safely ignored, so an app you built free keeps working perfectly when you upgrade, and the data simply starts flowing.
One worked example: instrument a booking funnel
The Conversion view is easiest to learn by wiring one real funnel end to end. Using the booking app from the tutorial:
- Name the outcome events well. Short, stable, lowercase names describing outcomes, not clicks:
booking_started,slot_chosen,booking_completed. Ask the agent to track all three at the right moments. - Publish and let real traffic flow. Analytics measures the published app only, so the funnel fills as real visitors move through it.
- Open Conversion and look at detected funnels. Vaulter detects the paths sessions actually take. Find the one matching your booking flow and pin it; it becomes a named funnel you can watch across periods.
- Pin the events that are your KPIs. Star
booking_completedin the events leaderboard and it becomes a card with its count, so the number you run the business on greets you first. - Read the drop-off, then act on the biggest step. A funnel that loses most people between
slot_chosenandbooking_completedpoints at the final form; fix that page, wait a period, and compare. One step per change, or you cannot tell what worked.
The same recipe fits any app: name the outcome, track it, pin it, fix the biggest leak, repeat.
What each plan includes
- Free: the Analytics panel is locked.
- Starter: Overview, Realtime, and Conversion, with 7, 30, and 90-day ranges, and 500,000 events per month.
- Pro and Teams: everything in Starter, plus the Revenue view, a 365-day range, and 5 million (Pro) or 10 million (Teams) events per month.
Event allowances reset monthly. If you are approaching yours, the dashboard tells you before it matters.
